The Curitiba team and I went to Vila Torres. Vila Torres is community that’s located really close to the downtown area. While we were at Vila Torres, we saw how people lived and what they did to earn their money, or support their families. Residents of this community actually recycle to earn their money, and by doing this, keep their community and their city clean. When we finished seeing the community and eating lunch, we went down to a little organization, Mother’s Club. There we interacted with the children of the community by reading and singing to them. After preparing tasty foods like grilled cheese and different types of fruit, we gave our thanks for letting us come over and just have fun with the kids.
